looking at all the photos posted up by those who went on exchange, it is IMPOSSIBLE not to feel sore for being stuck here.. on this tiny tiny island with no barcelona pavilion, calatrava bridges, sydney opera house or gothic cathedrals watsoever. nope.
why oh why didnt my parents allow me to go for exchange, why oh why cant i be just a little richer.
what's worse, there's just so much to be done that most of us are basically stuck in studio.. yes our lovely studio. but i guess we as architecture students have to make the most of what we have and enjoy our time spent or the suicide rates might just shoot up high high above the sky.
so we did a little travelling during this break despite the amount of work we have.
DAY ONE! Blur Building by Diller and Scofido, Switzerland
DAY TWO! Guggenheim Museum by Gehry, Bilbao
DAY THREE! The Louvre Entrance by IM Pei, France
DAY FOUR! Kimbell Museum by Louis Kahn, Texas
DAY FIVE! Burj Al Arab, Dubai -Wow were we exhausted by today.
