when people first take a look into a pond
they see the reflection of themselves, they see the reflection of the sun above
casting beautiful shadows through the canopy of the trees
and they like what they see
then they begin to look deeper
and start noticing the ugly moss that grew at the bottom of the pond
and the mud and sometimes just darkness
and they did not like what they see
and they wish that the bottom of the pond
looks just as beautiful as the surface
what they do not realise however
is that beauty cannot exist without the horrid
and light cannot exist without the dark
and that the relationship between the two extremes
forms a complete entity
