morning conversation between two colleagues

lady: hey R, why you look so glum today? Smile a bit leh..

man stretches his cheeks to fake out a smile

lady: you went for breakfast alrd? Never wait for me..
man: cos i came to work quite early today... tt's why i went first
lady: oh... ok. Hey R, cheer up leh.. its only a project..must be more cheerful
man: it's giving me a hell out of problems.. headache man. For the past few days i've been leaving the office at ard 930pm. cannot tahan eh like tt
lady: at least you're only working on one project. I have 3 projects to work on currently and i'm supposed to only work part-time leh. and then when i go back i have to deal with husband, kids, mother-in-law, maid etc
man: husband and kids are fun what
lady: they're not when they're complaining!
man: you deal with your husband and kids when you go back. when i go back, i deal with 4 huge walls. Now you tell me, which is better

i stood there listening.

'four huge walls' sounds pretty intimidating to me.

i guess in future when i design buildings, i'll make the walls really small
