hey, i'm pretty free today. Maybe today i can finally help one of the landscape architects and learn how they design. after all, that's what i wanted to do this break.. yay!

mel: yep
xxx: you know how to cut?
mel: yep
xxx: ok.. good. i need you to help me cut out all THESE different types of trees in THESE
folders. i might need them in future
mel: all? okay..
xxx: sorry i know its a boring job
more like brainless to death

hahaa i suppose that's what interns are for... photoshop trees, draw toilets & sketchuping models.
maybe you can try requesting some real landscaping stuff to do, im sure he'll happy to teach you his trade.
anyway there's this landscaping firm in Singapore called Peridian. Their presentation materials, persp, plans are all hand-drawn and rendered, which i think is pretty cool. Perhaps you can apply to there next hols.
